Jerry Lucas, renowned basketball player and memory expert, will speak at The Church of Christ in Christian Union for their morning and evening services on May 19th. He will present a ‘memory seminar’ at 7pm on Monday, May 20th. There is no charge for this event. A love offering will be accepted. Everyone is welcome.

A benefit pancake breakfast, sponsored by Huntington Kiwanis Club, will take place Saturday, May 25th from 8 to 10am at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill, in downtown Huntington. This yummy breakfast will benefit the Kiwanis Day Care Center, an outstanding community service for over 81 years. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, coffee, orange juice and milk. Mark your calendar now to attend!
A gospel sing will take place at Words of Life on Saturday May 25th beginning at 2pm. The McAdams Ministry, The Shope Family and Called are all scheduled to sing. The church is located in South Point, OH. There will also be baked goods and refreshments available for purchase.
On May 25th, Empire Bookstore, located in Pullman Plaza in downtown Huntington, will host a book signing from 6 to 8pm. Journey Onward, by Tracy Carter-Morgan, is memoirs of her father, Rev. Dr. Douglas Carter. Tracy will be there to sign copies of her book. Everyone is invited to attend!
